Ring Tones

About these new, very short piano pieces called Ring Tones… The original concept was that each would last as long as a mobile phone ringtone, but oops! when did inspiration necessarily obey such things? They are meant to have a strong character of ‘ringing’ – loosely interpreted. Some of them have a ringing telephone ‘buzz’ feeling. Some have turned out with a tinge of New Age flavor. Others are a bit jazzy, while one or two are virtuosic (but hey, these are generally pretty easy to play and memorize!)
